At the ANDET Studios we provide a wide range of services and solutions for the creation, repair, restoration, cleaning, conservation and protection of historic stained glass windows.

We undertake work all throughout Quebec, Ontario and other provinces in Canada, all of which is carried out to the highest possible standards (CVMA international organization for the conservation of historic stained glass windows) by our team of skilled craftsmen both on site and in our workshop based in St. Chrysostome, Quebec.

Detlef Gotzens has a Master’s degree from the Guild of Cologne in Germany and has been perfecting his trade for 38 years. We have repaired and restored stained glass windows in some of the nation’s most prestigious ecclesiastical buildings and many other historical buildings (see list of projects).

Church / restoration projects in Germany:

While still in Germany, Detlef worked on restoration projects on many famous historic windows in his home town of Cologne and the surrounding area, as well as new windows that were created by some of the world’s most renowned artists. For example:

• St. Kunibert, 1200-1260;
• St. Andreas, 13th century;
• St. Ursula, 1135-1287;
• Maria Laach Cloisters, 13th century
• Cloister Hersel.

There are many others that Detlef worked on in his 38-year career but we’ve just mentioned a few of them here. Some of these famous Romanesque churches are part of the tour of historic Cologne that Detlef organizes every year (see list of events).
